Armoured Cable
Armoured cable is the name given to electrical cable which has
a layer of either steel wire armour for multicore cables or aluminium wire
armour for single core cables.
The armour which sits below the outer PVC sheathing is to provide mechanical
protection for the conductors and insulation below.
For use in fixed installations either indoor. outdoor or
direct burial.
XLPE/PVC/SWA/PVC in accordance with BS5467
Voltage Rating 600/1000volts
Temp. Rating 90ºC maximium conductor operating temperature
